Resperin and the Immune System

It is our belief that the essense of good health and the healing or restorative powers of the body centres around a healthy immune system. Research by the medical community supports this belief as evidenced by articles where research is being done in order to provide cancer vaccines. In one specific case, Dr. Johannes Vieweg is quoted as saying that the belief is that “the body can cure itself”. At Sunnybrook there is a team ‘working on vaccines that would target the immune system’s ability to destroy cancer’. This would suggest that current techniques of radiation and chemotherapy that destroy the immune system are working contrary to this theory. The studies are, of course, funded by Pharmaceutical giants.

We believe that René Caisse and her herbal formulation were years ahead of the “medical community” in the treatment of cancer patients, as her formulation targets the immune system and it’s healing capabilities. Although she was known as “Canada’s Cancer nurse”, we do not believe in the strictest sense, that her formulation will cure cancer by current medical theory of destroying the tumour. If tested in a laboratory environment using traditional “cancer methodology of injecting rats”, results would probably be negative. (as hoped for by the medical community and Pharmaceutical companies).

However, one cannot ignore the success that she achieved especially since most of her patients were in advanced stage or terminally ill. The basis for the success of her formula can be understood by a study of the herbal ingredients and what they actually do. The main premise is first to detoxify the body and cleanse the system, and then stimulate the immune system such that the body can heal from within. As each of us is different and our immune systems are at different levels of functioning, reaction and length of treatment required will also differ. Use before and after conventional therapy also proved to be beneficial. This combination of herbs is also recognized as one of the best ‘preventative’ measures that we can do for our systems if taken on a daily basis.
